The island is very much resourceful with enormous biological diversity which are bellow;

• Bird- 200s

• Mammals- 20sp

Besides above coconuts are an important cash crop. There are, 9,127 coconut trees on the island, Households cultivate fruit trees there are 467 fruit tress o the island.
