World Environment Day 2004

To observe the World Environment Day 2004 Celebrations and inaugurate the Environment Fair, a special Programme has been organized on Saturday 5 June 2004 / 22 Jaistha 1411 at the Osmani Memorial Hall, Dhaka. 

Begum Khaleda Zia, Hon’ble Prime Minister, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh has consented to inaugurate the World Environment Day Celebrations as the Chief Guest. 

Mr. Tariqul Islam, Hon’ble Minister for Environment and Forests will preside. 

Mr. Jafrul Islam Chowdhury, Hon’ble State Minister for Environment and Forests will attend the occasion as a Special Guest. 

Mr. Jorgen Lissner, Resident Representative of UNDP in Bangladesh will be the Guest of Honour.
