The overall objective of BAMWSP is to reduce mortality and morbidity in rural and urban population caused by arsenic contamination of ground water, through sustainable safe water supply, health and management strategies. The website gives information on the project, on arsenic mitigation, and it gives an overview of who is doing what on arsenic in Bangladesh. It also provides access to a newsletter in Bengali language.

EGIS

The Center for Environmental and Geographic Information Services (CEGIS) is an organization for integrated environmental analysis using geographic information system and remote sensing, information technology and databases. Its activities are inter-disciplinary that address sectors such as water resources, agriculture, fisheries, environment, engineering, and transportation.

After 10 years of working as a project, first as the Flood Action Plan (FAP 16 and 19) and then as the Environment and GIS Support Project for Water Sector Planning (EGIS), CEGIS was transformed into an independent registered organization on 16th May, 2002 when the Deed of Trust was signed. It has come into full operation since 1st July, 2002.

LGED
